About Me:
My name is Jeannette Lilith Herrera. I'm mother to two beautiful children and wife
to a supportive fella. I paint; its what I love to do. My greatest influences have
been my Uncle Raul in Peru, also a painter and the people, places and events in
my life that have shaped me. I grew up in a very strict home of people with a
super strong work ethic. I have a musically talented sister and a great artist for
a brother; it just seems to run in our family. I've been painting ever since I can
remember and decided early in life this is what I had to do. I'm particularly rough
around the edges when it comes to socializing but I do love to meet interesting
and creative people that aren't afraid to share their work and from time to time
even collaborate on a project. I'm quite passionate about all the things I do and
can be very emotional about it.
I am a picture framer with 16 years experience. It's something I took up in order
to try and save a buck in high school while framing my own pictures. I custom
build frames from scratch to coincide with the subject matter of some of my
paintings. Because they vary in materials and sizes prices for custom frames and
other commissioned works are only given during a consultation. My paintings
consist of nudes, the assassin series which is still in progress, pin-up
style/burlesque, antique toys, little soldiers and varying states of emotional
distress. I love bright beautiful colors and bold outlines no matter what the
subject is. I just love to paint. Thanks so much for stopping buy and please
